We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex backend systems using C#, .NET, SQL, SSRS, and integration technologies such as Managed File Transfer. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure the delivery of scalable and robust solutions that meet our quality and performance requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead software engineering efforts and contribute to our enterprise-wide initiatives. You'll play a key role in mentoring other engineers, architecting scalable systems, and continuously improving our software development processes.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and technical direction to software engineering teams.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and architect well-structured and scalable software systems.
  • Hands-on Development: Contribute directly to development efforts, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices. Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex backend systems using C#, .NET, SQL, SSRS, and integration technologies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with project managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
  • DevOps and SDLC Expertise: Champion continuous improvement in our development and release processes (DevOps, SDLC).
  • Problem Solving: Lead the team in tackling complex technical challenges and finding innovative solutions. Solve technical problems using advanced skills and ability in C#, .NET, SQL, SSRS, and integration technologies.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior engineers, foster a collaborative work environment, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in software development, including 5+ years as a developer.
  • Technical Proficiency: Minimum 7+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong focus on backend development using C#, .NET, SQL, SSRS, and integration technologies. Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, SSRS, and experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions. Strong command of SQL (DML, DDL), database schema design, and a deep understanding of software development principles.
  • Devops: Knowledge of DevOps/SDLC methods, including release strategy, and experience with Git (GitLab, GitHub) for version control.
  • Cloud Experience: Working knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure or AWS)
  • Leadership: Excellent communication, collaboration, and people skills, with the ability to effectively coach and mentor junior engineers.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or similar.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
