Job Description

System One has partnered with a stable and growing organization in Oklahoma that has a need for a Data Engineer to join their team. This individual will work on Hybrid basis and MUST BE located in the Tulsa, OK area. The Data Engineer will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data which will ensure efficacy of the organization in all of the various business lines. The company offers a full health benefits package including retirement and a competitive paid time off plan. Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements. The company is not willing to relocate anyone from out of state, qualified individuals must be willing to move to Tulsa, OK or be located in Tulsa, OK currently.

  • Manage project requests and service desk ticket requests
  • Coordinate with business lines to identify and analyze goals and scope of informatics projects
  • Implement applications, tools, and processes that assist business lines with the management of data
  • Oversee development, system customization, and application implementations
  • Assist with automation activities
  • Make recommendations for innovative ideas, processes, and procedure enhancements, additions, and modifications
  • Research and resolve data discrepancies across multiple applications
  • Minimum of Bachelors in Information Technology or Data Analytics required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role required
  • Must have experience in Power BI, MS SQL, Azure, and C#
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required along with the ability to work with individuals at all levels inside and out of the organization
  • Maintain transparency in communication of projects, statuses, escalation of problems as well as data overview for leadership
  • Ability to work well in high stress and under pressure situations
  • Must be physically able to lift computer equipment of up to 25 pounds
  • Superior PC skills including Excel must be demonstrated
  • Understanding of IT Application, infrastructure, and security requirements
  • High attention to detail required for the ability to compile, code and categorize or verify information/data
  • Willingness to work typical business hours with an understanding that evening and weekend work may be required
