The <rt> tag provides the translation or pronunciation in a <ruby> annotation. This tag is placed inside the <ruby> tag.

Using <rt>

The <rt> tag is used to specify the pronunciation, meaning, or translation for East Asian typography.

This element must be located inside the <ruby> tag.
