Id column with different data type other int

I understand that spark 4.5 enforces  Id column of each table as type int. is there any way we can use id columns for bigint, smallint etc so that spark will generate the corresponding properties in entity classes with long, short etc?

Hello Premsudheer: 

The current version only supports int identity types.
However, the upcoming release (later this summe)) will also support long identity types.
