I am developing software for as long as I can think,... I think. Although I believe that working in the game industrie would be more fun (been there, done that), it was also not very hard to see that it's unfortunately not quite the best way of actually earning some money. ;)
I am currently working as a head of development in a consulting company with a focus on financial and insurance enterprises. However, based on customer projects, several applications have been releases into the wilderness of the global village which is why I am also responsible for the training of new colleagues and programming beginners. That stuff simply needs maintenance once in a while and maybe more development... can't do that on my own all the time...
